Sergeant Jason Dymond RET.

 Jason Dymond has been married for 23 years and father of three children, and is a 20-year veteran law enforcement officer, having started his career in 1993, and serving 19 years with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and over a year as an international police advisor under ISAF-SOF attached to TF66 during Operation Enduring Freedom. As a law enforcement officer, he has served as a uniformed patrol deputy, a drug detection and criminal apprehension canine handler, Special Investigations Unit undercover agent, patrol sergeant, Criminal Investigations Division sergeant and Special Investigations Unit Sergeant.  Mr. Dymond is a certified law enforcement instructor, firearms instructor, is a fully credentialed adjunct instructor for Eastern Florida State College and possess a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.   After retirement from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, he entered the private sector and was a contractor for the United States Army under the Law Enforcement Professional program, designed to advise, assist and mentor the Afghan National Police Force, under a new program call the Investigative Surveillance Unit.  Mr. Dymond was tasked with recruiting, vetting, training and working with an undercover investigative unit designed to target Taliban sub-commanders and assist battlefield commanders in counter terrorism activities.    After his tour in Afghanistan, Mr. Dymond and his wife opened a small family owned restaurant, which successfully employed 22 people and became a local community favorite.  The business was sold, and Mr. Dymond returned to government contracting, managing an Intelligence War Fighting training company, that supported the United States Army’s deployment training requirements for HUMINT, SIGINT and Cyber collections operators.  Simultaneously, Mr. Dymond assisted with the development and launch of a comprehensive school safety initiative known as the SPIRIT Project as a Law Enforcement Consultant.  This was a fully integrated software program that networked community stakeholders, such as schools, social workers and law enforcement in the detection and prevention of potential future acts of school violence. Currently he is the Director of Security for multiple wedding venues through out Central and South Florida, providing security personnel across four separate locations. He currently holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and Public Safety.
